After suffering a winless start to the campaign (D1, L3), Getafe will feel like the international break came at the wrong time as they put together successive La Liga (LL) victories just prior, and are now bidding to win three straight LL games for the first time since February 2020. However he’ll surely be keen to pick up three points here and end a rotten top-flight away run of 13 straight winless matches for Valladolid. Perhaps in search of inspiration, he’ll lean on the fact that their last LL away victory came against none other than Getafe back in January 2021 (1-0)!
