Trabzonspor Ferencvaros prediction 2022-11-03

Trabzonspor vs Ferencvaros prediction: EUROPE: Europa League – Group Stage betting tips on match 2022-11-02 17:45.
Trabzonspor know their fate is out of their hands as they look to qualify for the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League (UEL) for the first time since 2014/15. The Turkish outfit, who sit in third place in Group H, need to win their final game against leaders FerencvĂĄros, whilst also hoping Monaco slip up against Red Star Belgrade.

Abdullah Avcı’s side had put a lot of emphasis on European football this season and considering they currently sit sixth in their domestic SĂŒper Lig, an early UEL exit would pile on the misery. A 2-1 UEL defeat to Red Star last week seriously damaged their hopes of progressing, but the manager, who says they will “do everything” to get through, can draw confidence from a 31-game unbeaten run at home (W21, D10) that stretches back to August 2021!

Extending that streak may be tough against Ferencváros, who’ve already enjoyed a groundbreaking season. The Green and Whites beat Trabzonspor 3-2 in the reverse fixture in September and subsequently became the first Hungarian team to qualify from the group stages of a UEFA competition, doing so as group winners regardless of the result in this game after picking up ten points from their previous five matches (W3, D1, L1).

It has been a thoroughly impressive campaign for Stanislav Cherchesov‘s side, who sit top of the Hungarian top flight after winning nine of their opening 11 matches (L2) including a 2-1 victory over Zalaegerszegi TE last weekend. Despite the achievements of his side, Cherchesov insists there’s “no time for joy” as he looks to improve Ferencváros’ record of only four UEL wins from 19 attempts (D5, L10) whilst adding steeliness to a backline that has kept just four clean sheets during that same run.

Players to watch: Trabzonspor midfielder Anastasios Bakasetas has seven assists from his last 11 games in European football, although each of his three goals have arrived in defeats. Meanwhile, Adama Traoré has netted 14 times in 23 games since moving to Ferencvåros in the summer, finishing on the winning side in eight of his nine goalscoring appearances (L1).

Hot stat: Trabzonspor have seen both teams score in just two of their eight home games this season, with the Turkish outfit keeping six clean sheets.
