Tottenham Leeds prediction 2022-11-12

Tottenham vs Leeds prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2022-11-11 15:00.
Antonio Conte meltdowns are not exactly anything new, but the Tottenham manager continues to make headlines for all the wrong reasons as his team’s Premier League (PL) campaign derails. The feisty Italian has earned two cards in three appearances across all competitions, and as he continues to lambast a schedule he describes as “crazy”, the club that were considered title challengers by some in September have dropped to fourth after losing three of their last four league matches (W1).

All five PL home fixtures against clubs placed below Liverpool (who they lost 1-2 to at home in their last outing) at the end of the weekend have resulted in commanding victories, by an average winning margin of 2.2 goals, so the arrival of Leeds United must be considered an opportunity to bounce back in their final game before the World Cup break.

Leeds manager Jesse Marsch was almost left speechless after defeating Bournemouth at home 4-3, despite staring at a 1-3 deficit heading towards the hour mark of the game, describing the win as “hard to put into words”. Long gone is the eight-game PL winless run (D2, L6) that threatened to destroy his tenure, and Marsch might now be feeling invincible after a fortnight that has witnessed his side win at Anfield and score three goals in less than 30 minutes against the Cherries.

However his club are yet to win away to Spurs since rejoining the top flight (L2), which along with their poor season-long record of W1, D1, L4 as PL away outsiders this year, threatens to bring the team back down to earth, particularly if they concede the opening goal considering Tottenham’s PL record of W5, D1 when scoring first. Avoiding a second consecutive Christmas near the relegation zone may help buy Marsch the time and patience he needs to imprint his philosophy on Leeds.

Players to watch: Spurs defender Matt Doherty has won his last five games against Leeds for any club, even opening the scoring in Tottenham’s 4-0 rout of the Whites in February. Scoring in three consecutive PL matches is impressive enough, but even more remarkable is that Leeds forward Crysencio Summerville has hit all his three after the 80th minute.

Hot stat: Tottenham began this round with the best second-half goal difference (12-1, +11) of any club when including home PL fixtures only.
