Werder Bremen RB Leipzig prediction 2022-11-12

Werder Bremen vs RB Leipzig prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2022-11-11 14:30.
Werder Bremen manager Ole Werner admitted Bayern Munich are on a “different level” after his side were destroyed 6-1 by the Bundesliga giants in midweek. Perhaps he can forgive his newly-promoted team for not meeting the standard on this occasion, but they do still sit in seventh, just five points off the European places after picking up 21 points from 14 games – their joint best top-flight tally at this stage since 2011/12.

They also come into this match on the back of successive home league wins for the first time this season, but Bremen’s vulnerability against the Bundesliga’s elite is something Werner will need to remedy as RB Leipzig arrive in town. His side have lost three out of four games (L1) against teams currently placed above them in the Bundesliga table this season, conceding the first goal on each occasion.

The Red Bulls could pose a problem then, as they beat top-four occupiers Freiburg 3-1 last time out and have won each of their last four league encounters with Bremen. The good times have been flowing for the River Islanders since the start of October, as they’ve stitched together a 12-game unbeaten run which has even seen them beat the European champions (3-2 v Real Madrid).

Boss Marco Rose stated that he’s glad his side are “’getting rewards", but there’s still plenty of work to be done as they’ve won just one of their away trips this Bundesliga campaign (D3, L3), albeit that victory did come last time out (3-1 v Hoffenheim). Leipzig haven’t won an away league match when conceding the opener since March either (D3, L4), which perhaps emphasises the importance of flying out of the traps here.

Key battle: Bremen goalkeeper Jiří Pavlenka will want to pick himself up after being hit for six last time out, although he’s never won a game (L3) against Christopher Nkunku, who is in red-hot form having hit nine goal contributions in his last six appearances (G7, A2) for Leipzig, including a brace in their last away outing.

Hot streak: Leipzig have scored 2+ goals in nine consecutive games in all competitions.
