Eintracht Frankfurt Stuttgart prediction 2023-03-11

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Stuttgart prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2023-03-10 14:30.
Following a frantic start at Wolfsburg on Sunday (D 2-2) Frankfurt are now winless in three games across all competitions, after frustratingly letting a comeback lead slip. While still just three points off a UCL spot, they know this is a must-win, and the Eagles impressively go into this battle after a chain of four straight home league victories by a 2+ goal margin.

And it’s not just in attack that fans at Deutsche Bank Park have been treated lately either. The tail end of that streak includes a hat-trick of clean sheets, and a fourth in a row would mark an achievement never seen from any Frankfurt squad in six decades of Bundesliga history!

On current form, opponents Stuttgart could well oblige in giving Oliver Glasner’s men that distinction. A brave 2-1 defeat to Bayern Munich on March 4 made it just one victory in eight league games played under Bruno Labbadia’s current regime (D2, L5), while keeping the troubled Swabians winless as Bundesliga outsiders this campaign (D5, L9).

Consequently, Stuttgart remain entrenched in a tight bottom-five, amongst which any club could enter the final ten Bundesliga matchdays sitting dead last. And wider history will certainly reflect badly on whoever wakes up in the basement on Monday morning, given that all of the previous seven teams lying bottom with ten rounds left have suffered relegation.

Strangely though, the last team to defy that trend was none other than Stuttgart’s class of 2014/15! And with the Swabians also consistently scoring in competitive away action during 2023 so far (W1, D1, L3), there may yet be life in a club that claimed the Bundesliga title as recently as 2007.

Players to watch: Seeing all three of his strikes this term come before the 25th minute in victories, Sebastian Rode scored his quickest goal yet for Frankfurt (6’) during the reverse H2H (W 3-1). Nine years Rode’s junior, Juan Perea netted his maiden goal for Stuttgart last weekend, ensuring that half of his last six strikes have come via a header.

Hot streak: Stuttgart’s previous seven matches have all ranged between 2-3 total goals.
