Wigan Athletic maintained their Championship status for the moment with a gutsy 1-0 win over Stoke City on Tuesday night, although the league’s bottom side are still cut well adrift with only three games remaining. In fact, they haven't scored at all in each of their last two league away fixtures (D1, L1) so the Lions might be relieved that their final two league away days are against the Championship’s bottom two. That might inspire them to roar into some goalscoring form, particularly as they’ve only lost once on the road against sides currently in the bottom seven this term (W3, D1).
Players to watch: Max Power (G1, A1) had a hand in both of Wigan’s last two league goals and has interestingly drawn all three of his personal H2Hs against Millwall. Similarly influential, Tom Bradshaw has netted two of Millwall’s last four Championship goals, opening the scoring in eight of his ten goalscoring outings this term.
