Juventus Torino prediction 2023-10-07

Juventus vs Torino prediction: ITALY: Serie A betting tips on match 2023-10-06 16:00.
An uninspiring 0-0 draw to Atalanta saw Juventus extend their Serie A (SA) run to just one win in three matches, shining a light on the consistency issues they’re facing despite ending the last round inside the top four and having collected a solid 14 points so far. Coach Massimiliano Allegri claimed he was happy with the “result and performance” against Atalanta, which didn’t go down well with parts of the fanbase who were left questioning the coach’s ambition.

In search of three successive clean sheets for the first time since the start of April, the Bianconeri will try to make the most of their historical home advantage in the Derby della Mole as they’re unbeaten at Allianz Stadium against Torino since 1995 (W14, D5). Juventus are also undefeated here this term (W2, D1), but will be sweating on the fitness of key striker Duơan Vlahović for this one after he missed the draw with Atalanta through a minor back injury.

Torino make the short trip across town having not beaten their old rivals since April 2015 (D4, L18), while their 0-0 draw to Hellas Verona last time out extended their winless run to three games (D2, L1). It‘s not hard to see where one of their biggest current problems lies as only six teams have scored fewer goals than Ivan Juric’s side.

But the visitors have still shown some positive signs in the early stages of this campaign, picking up wins over Genoa and Salernitana, yet two away defeats in three matches on the road (W1) ended what had been a solid run of five wins from six away outings prior (D1).

Players to watch: Juventus’ Federico Chiesa has already contributed to seven goals against Torino in his personal H2Hs (W8, D3, L1), including one assist in a 4-2 win here in February. Getting ready for his first Derby della Mole is Duván Zapata who has scored eight goals against Juventus when playing for Atalanta, with the last two coming on the road.

Hot stat: Torino are one of only two SA teams yet to concede in the opening 30 minutes of play.
