Brighton Fulham prediction 2023-10-29

Brighton vs Fulham prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2023-10-28 14:00.
Brighton ‘cleaned up’ against Ajax on Thursday, and their 2-0 UEFA Europa League win goes down as one of the most memorable nights in the club’s history. Their first ever European victory was a much-needed result as it ended a five-match winless run (D2, L3) stretching back over a month to the last time they won a Premier League (PL) fixture (D1, L2).

While competing on several fronts is taking a heavy toll on the Seagulls with Solly March and Danny Welbeck the latest to join their long-term injured list, they will hope that their midweek victory can inspire them to a first-ever PL win over Fulham (D3, L3). They’ve only lost one of their last seven league games here at the AMEX Stadium (W4, D2) which could set them up nicely to make more history.

A mixed week for Fulham began with a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham, before manager Marco Silva signed a new contract on what chairman Shahid Khan described a “wonderful day” for the club. Performances on the pitch haven’t been quite as wonderful for Fulham, who find themselves In the bottom half of the table following that second defeat in three league games (W1), although they’ll hope for improvement here as Silva targets three consecutive wins over the same PL opponents for just the second time in his career.

If the Cottagers are to succeed where Ajax failed so miserably, they’ll need to find more incisiveness up front after drawing blanks in both of their last two PL away fixtures (D1, L1). That’s the third time they’ve done that this calendar year, but on both previous occasions, they won their next league fixture away from Craven Cottage ‘to nil’ – the first of them here in February!

Players to watch: Ansu Fati is finding some form for Brighton, netting between the 50th and 75th minute in each of their last two fixtures. Fellow wing wizard Willian loves playing against Brighton, as he’s registered four goal contributions (G2, A2) against them.

Hot streak: Both teams have scored in all nine of Brighton’s PL games this term (W5, D1, L3).
