Heidenheim Stuttgart prediction 2023-11-05

Heidenheim vs Stuttgart prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2023-11-04 16:30.
It has not been an easy maiden Bundesliga season for Heidenheim who have picked up only seven points from their opening nine games and came into this weekend’s fixtures only two points above the relegation play-off position. However, they have picked up both of their wins at the Voith-Arena, where their four games (W2, L2) have been something of a goalfest with the hosts scoring nine and conceding ten.

One positive for the hosts is that they have opened the scoring in all four of their home games, but on the flipside they saw 2-0 leads become 2-2 scores on three separate occasions on the way to some mixed results (W1, L2). This happened in their last match at the Voith-Arena, 5-2 defeat to Augsburg, so fans of the hosts can be forgiven for not getting carried away if their side go ahead again on Sunday!

Stuttgart’s supporters had to do the opposite last weekend when they saw their team go 2-0 down after 21 minutes against Hoffenheim, and although the Reds scored twice in the second half, they were beaten 3-2 to end a run of six successive Bundesliga victories. The defeat was only their second in the league this season (W7) and just their third under Sebastian Hoeneß in 17 Bundesliga matches (W10, D4) since he took charge when they were bottom of the standings in early April!

HoeneĂź is yet to experience successive Bundesliga defeats in this role and, although this will be the first time that the Red meet Heidenheim in the top flight, Stuttgart are unbeaten in their last three meetings (W2, D1) and have not lost in either of their two previous visits to Heidenheim.

Players to watch: Jan-Niklas Beste has scored in all four of Heidenheim’s home league games this season, twice doing so from direct free kicks. With five goals and one assist from his last five games, Deniz Undav is doing a good job of covering the 14-goal hole in Stuggart’s attack opened up by Serhou Guirassy’s hamstring injury.

Hot stat: All but one of Stuttgart’s Bundesliga games this season produced over 2.5 total goals.
