Bournemouth Newcastle prediction 2023-11-11

Bournemouth vs Newcastle prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2023-11-10 17:30.
After claiming their first Premier League (PL) win of the season with a 2-1 triumph over Burnley in their last home match, Bournemouth were brought crashing back down to earth last weekend when outclassed in a 6-1 loss to reigning champions Manchester City. That latest result left them in the relegation zone (18th) at the start of this round, and consequently head coach Andoni Iraola has become one of the bookmakers’ favourites to be the next PL boss to be shown the door.

The Spaniard would hardly be happy to see high-flying Newcastle United next up on the fixture list, especially as Bournemouth have lost nine of their last 11 matches against sides who finished the prior season in the top four (W2). Those 11 outings combined saw them concede an average of 3.54 goals per game, whilst their defensive line hasn’t fared much better against all opponents so far this season, keeping just one clean sheet across their 11 league outings to date and allowing the equal-second most goals in the competition (2.45 per game).

The visiting Magpies arrive in Bournemouth on the back of a 2-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund in midweek Champions League action, a scoreline that leaves them at the bottom of Group F after four matches. Manager Eddie Howe described his side as ‘bruised’ following that loss, owing to a lengthy unavailability list that now includes more than ten first-team players.

Despite that, Newcastle could still prove too strong once again for their opponents here as they remain unbeaten in seven PL matches (W5, D2), five of which were accompanied by a clean sheet. The away side are also unbeaten when playing Bournemouth away from home in the PL, taking points from five visits to date (W2, D3), the second-most occasions they have visited any one side in the competition without ever losing!

Players to watch: Dominic Solanke remains Bournemouth’s brightest star this season with four PL strikes, but he has never faced any single side more times without scoring than Newcastle (seven). Meanwhile, former Bournemouth and current Newcastle forward Callum Wilson has seven PL goals this season, two of which have been match openers.

Hot streak: The last seven Premier League H2Hs witnessed goals from both teams.
