Swansea Hull prediction 2023-11-25

Swansea vs Hull prediction: ENGLAND: Championship betting tips on match 2023-11-24 15:00.
Swansea boss Michael Duff said his side “were excellent until we scored,” against Ipswich just before the international break, but that’s not saying a great deal as they took the lead in the 7th minute before losing 3-2! That result left the Swans floundering in the bottom-half of the table with just one win across their last five outings (W1, D1, L3), although four straight unbeaten home H2Hs against Hull may serve to boost confidence (W2, D2).

Duff’s men certainly need a spring in their step here after failing to score in their last two home games as part of a three-match winless run at the Swansea.com Stadium (D1, L2). It has been over a year since the Swans posted a longer run of winless home league games, so there may be some cautious optimism about bouncing back here, an outcome which would perhaps lift the mood in the city after Wales’ failure to automatically qualify for Euro 2024.

One of seven sides separated by just six points in and around the play-off positions, Hull make the long trip to South Wales knowing that victory could propel them as high as fifth if results also go their way. That wouldn’t be too much of a surprise either given that the Tigers have won three of their last four games ‘to nil’, form which has commanded the “respect” of other sides in the division according to boss Liam Rosenior.

For all of the positives, keeping it tight on the road has been an issue for Hull, who have conceded at least twice in three of their last four away league games (W1, D1, L2). That wasn’t always the case though, as Hull are unbeaten in five of their eight away league games (W4, D1, L3), with eight of their 11 overall dropped away points coming across their last four trips.

Players to watch: Swansea’s Jamal Lowe contributed to both of his side’s goals in their latest league game (G1, A1), and three of his four overall scored goals this term were match openers. Trying to outdo him will be Hull’s Liam Delap, who was described as “outstanding” by his manager after his latest performance which saw him net his fourth match opening goal of the season.

Hot stat: Hull are unbeaten in ten of the last 12 competitive H2H clashes against Swansea (W6, D4, L2).
