FC Ballkani Plzen prediction 2023-11-30

FC Ballkani vs Plzen prediction: EUROPE: Europa Conference League – Group Stage betting tips on match 2023-11-29 17:45.
With second place in UEFA Conference League (UECL) Group C and a spot in the knockout round play-offs still very much up for grabs, third-placed Ballkani entertain top of the table Viktoria Plzeň in Tirana on Thursday evening. Level on four points with second-placed Astana with two fixtures left to play, the hosts have already matched their points tally from last seasonā€™s UECL group stage but will want to amass even more in order to qualify.

Domestically, Ilir Dajaā€™s side are unbeaten in the Kosovo Superleague and remain on course for their third successive title thanks to their current seven-point lead at the summit. The Gabriels are also top scorers in the division in spite of having played two games less than their nearest challengers, but itā€™s proven to be a very different story in UECL Group C, as the hosts enter here as the lowest scorers in Group C, netting just three goals which could hamper their chances of success in this clash (W1, D1, L2).

Up against Ballkaniā€™s timid European attack here is the meanest defence in Group C as Plzeň have conceded just once across their four wins. Points have seemingly been more important than providing entertainment for Miroslav Koubekā€™s team during the group stage, as theyā€™ve only scored more than once in a match on one occasion, racking up three 1-0 victories and a 2-1 win to date.

Their cautious approach has certainly worked, but with their top spot in Group C and progression to the knockout stage already secured, perhaps the handbrake will come off here for the visitors. And although this game is taking place in Albania, due to poor pitch conditions in Pristina, Plzeň have already beaten a Kosovan team on their travels this campaign after beating Drita 2-1 back in August to progress from the UECL Second Qualifying Round.

Players to watch: Almir Kryeziu has contributed to two of Ballkaniā€™s three goals in Group C, with a first-half strike at home to Dinamo Zagreb being followed by an assist against Astana in their last home game. Meanwhile, TomĆ”Å” ChorĆ½ has opened the scoring for Plzeň in each of his last three UECL appearances.

Hot stat: Plzeň have kept seven clean sheets across their ten UECL fixtures, qualifiers included, this season.
