Eintracht Frankfurt PAOK prediction 2023-11-30

Eintracht Frankfurt vs PAOK prediction: EUROPE: Europa Conference League – Group Stage betting tips on match 2023-11-29 20:00.
Although the top two teams of Group G in the UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL) have already been decided, Eintracht Frankfurt and PAOK will collide locked in a duel over first place and the one direct Round of 16 berth. Frankfurt head into this clash in second place (W3, L1), and will be looking to avenge their 2-1 defeat in the reverse fixture – something they should be confident of achieving given their 100% winning record against Greek opposition on home soil.

Dino Toppmöller’s men saw fortress Deutsche Bank Park breached for the first time since February by Stuttgart at the weekend (L 2-1). The Eagles will therefore be keen to respond, and with their return of just three defeats from their last 16 matches in the group stages of any UEFA competition (W9, D4), they look well placed to do just that.

PAOK are likely to stand firm in the face of such a record as they inflicted one of those three defeats on matchday two. Thanks to their unbeaten start to their UECL campaign (W3, D1), Răzvan Lucescu’s men can secure top spot by ‘doing the double’ over Frankfurt, but that would require just their second ever victory on German soil (D3, L1).

That sole win did come in impressive fashion against Borussia Dortmund in 2015/16, so this shouldn’t be a trip that fazes the Greek outfit. PAOK have also acquitted themselves well on the road in the UECL (W8, D2, L4) and they’ll hope that a continuation of that form could set them up to at least replicate the success of their 2021/22 march to the last eight.

Players to watch: Frankfurt midfielder Ellyes Skhiri has been involved further up the pitch of late, directly contributing to six goals in his last eight appearances (G4, A2). PAOK’s Andrija Ćœivković saw each of his last three goals arrive before half-time, including the opener in the reverse fixture.

Hot stat: There have been just three goalless first halves across Frankfurt’s 19 competitive matches this season.
