Heracles Sparta Rotterdam prediction 2023-12-02

Heracles vs Sparta Rotterdam prediction: NETHERLANDS: Eredivisie betting tips on match 2023-12-01 20:00.
Heracles Almelo had recently conceded a total of thirteen goals in three league matches, all of which were lost, whilst they were also knocked out of the national KNVB Cup by a 2-0 loss at the hands of amateur club HHC Hardenberg. But last weekend they brought joy to their supporters several times by winning an away trip to Almere City 5-0, ending a series of six games without a win (D1, L5).

The question now is whether the Almelo club can now continue this trend, because both in terms of goals conceded and yellow cards, they have been the worst of the competition. In that respect, the reigning second-tier champions can be very pleased to enter this round as number ten in the standings. One good news story is that of Abdenego Nankishi, who scored twice last week and has therefore already been involved in more goals than he was last season in the Eerste Divisie (G3, A1).

Sparta Rotterdam occupied sixth place prior to this round of play and has managed to match their previous successful year in that respect. Despite that, it does not yet feel as if Sparta is reaching the same heights of the previous year. For example, Jeroen Rijsdijk's team has a goal difference of exactly zero and their lead to 16th place is only six points. Last weekend, Sparta lost their second home game in a row and the team may be happy that it does not have to show up at the Castle this weekend.

After all, they have won more points on foreign soil this season than in their own stadium (ten to eight), even despite playing more home games. Due to the departure of Vito van Crooij and the hamstring injury of Koki Saito, Sparta is lacking some scoring ability from the wings. In that respect, it was a boost last week in the 2-1 defeat against FC Utrecht that Camiel Neghli scored his first Eredivisie goal.

Players to watch: Mohamed Sankoh scored a hat-trick for Heracles against Almere last week, whilst Joshua Kitolano has scored in two of his last three Eredivisie matches.

Hot stat: Three of the last four competitive H2Hs ended in a 1-1 draw.
