A 2-1 loss to Borussia Mönchengladbach in their last game extended Hoffenheim’s winless league run to four matches (D2, L2), although given they conceded first in all four, it could've been a whole lot worse. They’ll have to break a little hoodoo to tip the balance in favour of the win column here, as Bochum haven’t won a Bundesliga away game this season against a side starting this round in the top-half (D2, L3).
Players to watch: In fine form of late, Hoffenheim’s Wout Weghorst has scored in four of his last five Bundesliga appearances. Not quite as prolific, Patrick Osterhage opened the scoring in Bochum’s last win with his first-ever Bundesliga goal.
