After finally sealing promotion on the last day of the season last campaign, spirits would have been high as Darmstadt prepared themselves for another crack at the Bundesliga, but so far, it’s not gone well to say the least. Players to watch: Darmstadt’s Tobias Kempe has scored three league goals this campaign, with all three coming from the penalty spot. As for Wolfsburg, Jonas Wind has struck ten competitive club goals in 2023/24, four of which have come before the 15th minute.
