Eintracht Frankfurt Hoffenheim prediction 2024-03-10

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Hoffenheim prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2024-03-09 16:30.
[p]Eintracht Frankfurt finally got themselves back in the win column with a 2-1 victory over Heidenheim last round, ending a fruitless run of six games without victory in all competitions (D4, L2). Encapsulated in that streak was their disappointing elimination from this season’s UEFA Europa Conference League, but their recent win ensured they kept a tight grip on the last European spot in the Bundesliga. [/p]

[p]Dino Toppmöller’s men will now take on their closest challengers for that spot in Hoffenheim, who sit one place and four points adrift of them. The Eagles will look to sink their talons into their visitors and will have the Deutsche Bank Park faithful right behind them full of confidence and voice after treating them to just one defeat in their last 21 home Bundesliga matches (W11, D9).[/p]

[p]A home win would see Eintracht secure their fourth league-double over Hoffenheim across the last six seasons, something the latter’s manager Pellegrino Matarazzo could be concerned about if he recalls registering just one victory in seven prior managerial meetings with the hosts (D3, L3). He’s gotten the best out of his troops recently, though, as their six game winless start to 2024 was ended by back-to-back wins over Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen. [/p]

[p]Those wins came courtesy of a firing offence, as conceding in each of those two wins means Hoffenheim’s defence have now failed to keep a clean sheet for 20 successive matches! Keeper Oliver Baumann and his fellow defenders seem especially vulnerable on the road, having recently set a club record of six consecutive away top-flight matches where they let in at least two goals. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Omar Marmoush will once again be hunting for goals since four of his last five strikes have come at home, boosted by the fact he got Eintracht’s scoring underway in their come-from-behind 3-1 win in the reverse fixture. The opening scorer that day was Hoffenheim’s Maximilian Beier, who’ll again provide direct opposition to his Egyptian counterpart since eight of his 12 goals this season have come on the road. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: All but one of the last 13 H2Hs saw both teams score on the day.[/p]
