Heidenheim B. Monchengladbach prediction 2024-03-16

Heidenheim vs B. Monchengladbach prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2024-03-15 14:30.
[p]Having held their own thus far in their first ever Bundesliga season, the intensity of Germany’s top flight may be catching up to Heidenheim after they managed to secure just one single point across their last four matches. Despite this, there’s no need for Frank Schmidt’s men to panic, as they still enjoy a ten-point lead over those in the bottom three prior to the weekend.[/p]

[p]Schmidt and his players have enjoyed victory in just one of their last nine matches (D5, L3), with a leaky defense that kept just one clean sheet in those games to blame for their mediocre points haul. That single shutout did come in a 0-0 draw at home against Dortmund, but the Voith-Arena faithful are still waiting to witness their first win of the calendar year (D2, L2), after ending 2023 with three wins and a draw at home. [/p]

[p]They’re widely expected to be an even match for an equally struggling Borussia Mönchengladbach side, who also possess just one solitary victory across their last eight Bundesliga matches (D4, L3). They’ll be kicking themselves not to have held on for victory in their last league outing against Cologne, eventually drawing 3-3 in a highly entertaining back-and-forth affair, which left them just one point and one place behind Heidenheim in 12th position. [/p]

[p]The Foals should be confident they can leapfrog their hosts having already beaten them twice this season, winning 2-1 and 3-1 in the space of three days at the end of October in the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal respectively. The latter of those wins has since proven to be fruitless, after Mönchengladbach suffered a calamitous 2-1 DFB-Pokal loss to third-tier side Saarbrücken during the week.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Eren Dinkçi scored his side’s opening goal in all but one of his seven Bundesliga goalscoring outings, including in the reverse fixture earlier this season. Mönchengladbach’s Jordan then went on to score twice when these two met in the DFB-Pokal, contributing to him netting four of his last six goals before half-time[/p]

[p]Hot stat: The half-time result was replicated at full-time in 12 of Heidenheim’s last 15 matches. [/p]
