Bochum Darmstadt prediction 2024-03-31

Bochum vs Darmstadt prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2024-03-30 17:30.
[p]With only eight games remaining of this Bundesliga campaign, Bochum aren’t quite out of the woods just yet from a relegation perspective. That’s because a horrific run of four straight league defeats ahead of the international break saw their gap to the bottom-three cut to just six points ahead of the round. A visit from rock-bottom Darmstadt looks like a perfect opportunity to post a resurgent result and complete a H2H league double in the process.[/p]

[p]That would be a first winning league double over Darmstadt since both sides finished in the mid-table abyss of the 2. Bundesliga back in 2017/18, and it doesn’t seem beyond the realms of possibility as 18 of Bochum’s 25-point haul were earned at home. Even so, Bochum have failed to win three of their four games against sides occupying the bottom-three at any venue, drawing both such games on home soil (D2, L1).[/p]

[p]Following a hefty 5-2 defeat to Bayern Munich prior to the break, the clock is ticking on Darmstadt’s brief stint in the top-flight. Rooted to the foot of the table and sat 12 points shy of safety, there’s seemingly no way out for the Lilies at this late stage of the season. Damningly, the visitors have also lost by multi-goal margins in their last three games, conceding a whopping 13 goals in that short space of time. [/p]

[p]That’s partly why the case for some late improvement is a weak one at best, though the visitors have at least picked up seven of their meagre 13-point haul on their travels and have avoided defeat in three of their last five league trips (D3, L2). That’s not to mention that top-four hopefuls Leipzig are the only side to defeat them by more than a single goal margin across their last seven away league outings. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Takuma Asano scored both of Bochum’s goals in the reverse victory, although his two league goals since then have come in home games. Tim Skarke scored in vain for Darmstadt in their last league game, with four of his six scoring appearances this season seeing his side fail to win (W2, D2, L2). [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Darmstadt have failed to win four of their six league games when scoring first this season (W2, D2, L2). [/p]
