Fulham West Ham prediction 2024-09-14

Fulham vs West Ham prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2024-09-13 14:00.
[p]Fulham’s performance at Ipswich Town prior to the international break may have been underwhelming, but the 1-1 draw they left Suffolk with will feel like a point gained having trailed inside 15 minutes. The west Londoners can now earn seven points from their first four matches in a Premier League campaign for the first time since 2006/07, but to do so, they will need to beat West Ham. [/p]

[p]The corresponding fixture last season ended 5-0 in Fulham’s favour, although four of those goals involved a scorer or assist maker who has now either left the club or is yet to feature this season. Nevertheless, Marco Silva will be looking to make it three straight H2H victories for the Cottagers for the first time since October 1966, but to do so he’ll have to win a home H2H clash against a Julen Lopetegui-managed side for the first time ever (D2). [/p]

[p]West Ham have registered two wins and two losses so far in 2024/25 across all competitions, but after being undone just before the international hiatus by an Erling Haaland hat-trick, they may be glad to be competing away from the London Stadium, as three of their last four league victories have come on the road. [/p]

[p]The Irons have never tasted defeat in three consecutive matches without scoring against Fulham, but that is the unwanted record they’re facing as they head to Craven Cottage. An unfortunate habit of letting in early goals certainly isn’t helping their cause, with five of their last six Premier League encounters seeing them concede inside 15 minutes. The exception in that run however was a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, and if they can earn three points here, it would be the first time that West Ham had earned successive top-flight London derby away victories since November 2019![/p]

[p]Players to watch: Adama Traoré has started this season encouragingly with a goal and an assist across three starts, while the Spaniard hasn’t been on the losing side on the last eight occasions he has contributed to a goal (W6, D2). Jarrod Bowen has scored four times against Fulham in nine personal career meetings, with all those efforts arriving before the hour mark. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Fulham’s last 22 matches not to end 0-0 have seen the team that went 1-0 up avoid defeat on the day. [/p]
