Nottingham Fulham prediction 2024-09-28

Nottingham vs Fulham prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2024-09-27 14:00.
[p]Not many football fans would have expected Nottingham Forest to be unbeaten after their opening five Premier League games this season (W3, D2), but last Saturday they ground out another positive result, drawing 2-2 on the road against another unbeaten side in Brighton to remain undefeated. The East Midlanders are now five unbeaten on their travels in the competition for the first time since October 1995, so a return to the City Ground this weekend may not be as welcomed as it potentially should be. [/p]

[p]Both of the Tricky Trees’ home league encounters this term have ended in 1-1 draws against Bournemouth and Wolves, results which have extended their winless run on their own patch in the Premier League to five games (D3, L2). That’ll be a concern for the Forest faithful then, as too will their side’s sequence of eight defeats in their last 11 league H2Hs against Fulham (W3), even if last campaign’s corresponding fixture ended in a 3-1 home victory. [/p]

[p]A 3-1 home victory is ironically exactly what Fulham recorded over the weekend, as they put Newcastle to the sword in impressive fashion at Craven Cottage. That win highlighted their ability to upset the big boys in England’s top flight, but a potential weakness remains when they face ‘lesser’ sides away from SW6. [/p]

[p]That was seen again during their last league trip as they had to settle for a point during a 1-1 draw with newly promoted Ipswich, taking their away form in the Premier League to just three wins in 20 attempts (D7, L10). Confidence might instead be found elsewhere then for this match, not least in the fact that Fulham have won more league games against Forest than against any other team in their club history (42), a tally they’ll be desperate to further improve on here. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Chris Wood scored once more against Brighton last weekend to take his tally this season to three goals, each of which served as a match opener. Emile Smith Rowe has hit the ground running since joining Fulham in the summer, having registered three goal contributions in five Premier League outings (G2, A1), including a strike in his Flashscore Man of the Match performance at the weekend. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Six of Forest’s last seven home league games saw both teams score, including the last H2H. [/p]
