Leicester Bournemouth prediction 2024-10-05

Leicester vs Bournemouth prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2024-10-04 14:00.
[p]It was always going to be difficult for Steve Cooper to earn favour with the Leicester fanbase after having managed their bitter rivals Nottingham Forest previously. That task gets harder by the week after the Foxes boss cited “two poor decisions” as a major contributing factor in their 4-2 defeat against Arsenal, leaving Leicester winless after six games (D3, L3) despite their resilient display against the Premier League title challengers. [/p]

[p]Returning to the King Power Stadium should hopefully prove to be a boost for the Foxes at least, who have overcome half-time deficits in two of their three league outings here this season to pick up a pair of draws against Tottenham and Everton (D2, L1). Despite their clear tenacity when falling behind here, Cooper may have his work cut out against Bournemouth, as he has faced no side more often in his managerial career without ever winning (D2, L3). [/p]

[p]That statistic is compounded by Bournemouth’s rock solid Premier League H2H record against Leicester (W5, D5, L2), which includes a fixture-best three-game winning run ahead of this latest clash. Andoni Iraola’s Cherries won their first game against newly-promoted opposition on Monday night too, a 3-1 thumping of Southampton which the Spaniard had to watch from afar as he served a touchline ban.[/p]

[p]Back in the dugout this weekend, Iraola will hope that his side can continue their fine form by notching back-to-back league wins for the first time since the back end of last season. Doing so away from home is far from guaranteed however, given that Bournemouth have managed just two competitive wins and one clean sheet on the road since the beginning of April (W2, D1, L6), something which aligns with their return of just one clean sheet in the last five away H2Hs (W1, D2, L2). [/p]

[p]Players to watch: James Justin stunned Arsenal with a brace last weekend – his last three Leicester goals have all come beyond half-time. As for Bournemouth, Antoine Semenyo already has three goals in six Premier League appearances this season and he has been on the losing side just once in 11 scoring appearances for the club.[/p]

[p]Hot streak: The last side to see both teams score and remain winless for longer than Leicester’s current six games to begin a Premier League season was Derby in 2000/01.[/p]
