[p]Last season’s semi-finalists Roma have endured a difficult start to this UEFA Europa League (UEL) campaign, failing to win either of their first two league phase matches (D1, L1). The Giallorossi squandered the lead in a 1-1 draw with Athletic Club on matchday one before suffering a surprise 1-0 defeat to Elfsborg last time out to leave them winless in four UEL matches (D2, L2).[/p]
[p]Roma have also failed to win either of their Serie A games since (D1, L1), and a return of just one goal across their last three matches will be of particular concern to boss Ivan Jurić. [p]With one of their UEL defeats coming against Roma’s arch-rivals Lazio (3-0), Oleksandr Shovkovsky’s men are travelling to Italy with only one victory across their 26 matches against Serie A opposition (D8, L17), with that solitary success coming against none other than Roma back in 2004.[/p]
[p]Players to watch: Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk has scored three of his four goals for Roma this season before the break, including their only UEL strike. After netting a first-half brace on Saturday, Vladyslav Vanat will be hoping to break Dynamo’s duck in this competition – each of his last four goals arrived before the break.[/p]
