Holstein Kiel Heidenheim prediction 2024-11-02

Holstein Kiel vs Heidenheim prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2024-11-01 14:30.
[p]The coastal settlement of Kiel is one of Germany’s busiest ports, so it is perhaps fitting that the city’s football team, Holstein Kiel, are all at sea in the Bundesliga. Since their promotion to the top-flight for the first time, the Storks have picked up a measly two draws in eight games (L6), meaning that they are already six points adrift of safety. [/p]

[p]Their most recent league outing was a 2-1 reversal at Stuttgart, losing despite holding a one-man advantage for 22 minutes. Even a return to Holstein-Stadion gives supporters little to be happy about either, as Marcel Rapp’s side have lost each of their four fixtures there this season, conceding a whopping Bundesliga-high 14 home goals in the process going into this weekend![/p]

[p]History suggests there is every chance of that run being extended against opponents Heidenheim, who have been beaten in just one of the last ten H2Hs (W5, D4). The visitors will hope that is a good omen, given that they have endured a bit of a wobble by going winless in the Bundesliga during October (D1, L2), including a 0-0 draw against Hoffenheim in their most recent top-flight match.[/p]

[p]Such a sequence of results threatens to overshadow an otherwise good start to the campaign for Frank Schmidt’s men, who have accumulated ten points in the league so far (W3, D1, L4). They can, however, take comfort in the fact that three of their four Bundesliga defeats this season have come to sides who head into this round in the top seven in the table, whereas their record against clubs in the bottom half in 2024/25 is three wins from five attempts (D1, L1).[/p]

[p]Players to watch: It is usually bad news for Holstein Kiel if Shuto Machino scores, as he has not won any of his last seven goalscoring club outings (D3, L4), although each of those matches has contained 4+ goals. Attempting to outshine him may be Marvin Pieringer, who has seen five of his last six goals serve as the first or last of the game.[/p]

[p]Hot streak: Holstein Kiel have conceded at least twice in each of their ten competitive encounters this season.[/p]
