Legia Din. Minsk prediction 2024-11-07

Legia vs Din. Minsk prediction: EUROPE: Conference League – League phase betting tips on match 2024-11-06 17:45.
[p]After the opening two matchdays of the UEFA Conference League, Legia Warsaw are one of nine sides to boast a 100% winning record. The Militarians have done it without conceding a single goal, upsetting Real Betis in their opener (1-0) before comfortably seeing off TSC last time out (3-0). Their European exploits form part of a wider eight-match unbeaten run across all competitions (W6, D2), so they’re bound to be full of confidence. [/p]

[p]As such, Legia will be targeting a top-eight finish which would see them advance directly to the last 16, something that would be an improvement on last season’s exit at the knockout play-off stage. A return of just one defeat from their last nine Conference League home games (W7, D1) justifies their heavy favouritism for what will be a first-ever competitive H2H against Dinamo Minsk.[/p]

[p]A contributing factor to that favouritism is the visitors’ dreadful start to their first European main draw campaign since 2015/16. Dinamo conceded late in matchday one in an eventual 2-1 loss to Hearts before coming up short against HJK to leave them winless in their last six Conference League outings (D1, L5). [/p]

[p]Despite their continental struggles, Dinamo have continued to show their strength domestically, winning seven consecutive league matches either side of their Conference League defeats. They’ll be aware that time is running out for them to salvage their European campaign however, and their dismal away form that’s seen them lose five of their last seven road matches – four of which came in Europe – suggests they could be in for a long night in the Polish capital.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Former Leicester midfielder Bartosz Kapustka is in fine form for Legia, scoring three times in his last four matches with each strike arriving before the hour mark. Dinamo Minsk’s only Conference League goal so far was scored by striker Steven Alfred – four of his last five goals have come before half-time.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Legia have kept a clean sheet in just one of their last six home matches.[/p]
