Betis Celta Vigo prediction 2024-11-10

Betis vs Celta Vigo prediction: SPAIN: LaLiga betting tips on match 2024-11-09 13:00.
[p]After limping past Celje 2-1 in the UEFA Conference League in midweek despite being heavy favourites, Real Betis will be glad to get back to league action, where they’ve excelled of late. The Seville-based outfit have lost just one of their last six La Liga outings (W3, D2) as they look to improve further upon their seventh-placed finish in the top-flight last campaign. [/p]

[p]To achieve that, Betis will need to up their goalscoring on the domestic front though, as after their opening 12 league matches, they’ve struck just 12 goals in total. That’s by far the fewest of any side who begin this matchday in the top seven of the La Liga standings, yet they have at least found the back of the net in each of their six top-flight home fixtures so far this term.  [/p]

[p]As for visiting Celta Vigo, their fans will have been looking for much better than last season during which their side spent much of the campaign in the relegation places and so far, they’ve got just that. A 1-0 success over Getafe at the weekend moved them up to tenth in the La Liga table ahead of this matchday, whilst it also arrested their mini two-match losing streak in the Spanish top-flight. [/p]

[p]The task is simple for the away side, to try and claim back-to-back league wins since the opening two matchdays of this campaign but that could be more difficult than it sounds given Celta’s poor away form this campaign. The visitors have lost four of their five league outings on the road this term (W1), conceding 3+ goals in each of those matches along the way. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Pablo Fornals netted his first La Liga goal of the season at the weekend – his last seven La Liga home goals arrived before half-time. Anastasios Douvikas could be Celta’s lucky charm here as he struck their winner last time out against Getafe, meaning that his side have now won on eight of his last nine competitive goalscoring appearances (D1). [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Eight of Celta Vigo’s 12 La Liga matches this season saw both teams score.[/p]
