Fulham Wolves prediction 2024-11-23

Fulham vs Wolves prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2024-11-22 15:00.
[p]After a hugely frustrating October (D1, L2), seventh-placed Fulham bounced back with consecutive London derby wins over Brentford and Crystal Palace to begin November, and now have the opportunity to register three successive Premier League victories for the first time since January 2023 when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers. [/p]

[p]The West Midlands outfit have been a difficult nut for Fulham to crack recently though, with the Cottagers winning just one of the last eight H2Hs (D3, L4) since both teams were promoted from the Championship in 2018. That solitary victory came in last season’s corresponding fixture (3-2), and Craven Cottage has continued to provide great entertainment for the neutral this term, as both teams have scored all five of their home league matches. [/p]

[p]Like Fulham, 19th-placed Wolves entered the international break on the back of a 2-0 victory, leapfrogging opponents Southampton in the process, something that Gary O’Neil will have been desperate for following their winless ten-game start to the league campaign. The clean sheet accompanying the three points was another cause for celebration, as Wolves hadn’t kept one in the league since February, but they have been successful at shutting out the Cottagers in four of their last seven meetings. [/p]

[p]One thing that Wolves will need to focus on if they are to achieve the same outcome on this occasion is holding on to leads. Throwing away points from winning positions has been something of a trend this season, with the away side losing three of the five league matches this term in which they’ve led – the highest percentage figure (60%) of any team in the division. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: RaĂşl JimĂ©nez will want to end his three-game scoring drought at club level against his former employers. Prior to that, he’d scored five goals in eight Fulham matches – four of which came inside the opening 25 minutes. At the other end of the pitch, Matheus Cunha will be aiming to build on his six goal involvements in seven appearances (G4, A2) and he also netted Wolves’ opening goal at Fulham last season. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: The team that has scored first in Fulham’s last seven home games has won only three of them. [/p]
