Nice Strasbourg prediction 2024-11-24

Nice vs Strasbourg prediction: FRANCE: Ligue 1 betting tips on match 2024-11-23 19:45.
[p]You could argue Nice are one of the most in-from sides in Ligue 1 at the moment, piecing together a seven-match unbeaten run (W3, D4), but it’s the fact the majority of those have been draws which has held them back from getting into the top three. Unsurprisingly then, they were involved in a stalemate before the international break, battling from behind twice to draw 2-2 with Lille. [/p]

[p]They’ll hope to get back amongst the wins in their 100th H2H against Strasbourg (W41, D23. L35), but having lost three of the last six meetings on their own turf (W2, D1), Nice may not be confident of celebrating the occasion. The home faithful should at least be confident of seeing their side find the back of the net, as they’ve scored in each of their last ten home league games – their longest run since a 19-game stretch which ended in August 2020.[/p]

[p]Although Strasbourg’s position of 11th pre-round means they hover in mid-table security, they actually start the round just three points above the relegation play-off spot. Three defeats from their last four league games certainly haven’t helped their quest to steer clear of the bottom three, nor has the fact they’re winless on the road in Ligue 1 this season (D2, L3). [/p]

[p]That’s actually part of a wider nine-game winless away league run for Strasbourg (D3, L6), who conceded at least twice in six of those games. That’s certainly in keeping with this season for them, and entertainment seems a near certainty to be on the cards given Strasbourg are the only Ligue 1 side to both score and concede at least 20 goals this season ahead of the round. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Evann Guessand has been involved in a goal in each of his last four Ligue 1 appearances (G3, A1), the best run of his career in the top-flight – he scored in his last H2H game against Strasbourg too. Sebastian Nanasi has made five Ligue 1 goal contributions this season (G3, A2), four of which arrived before half-time. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Nice haven’t failed to score in a competitive home game since February.[/p]
