Basaksehir Petrocub prediction 2024-11-27

Basaksehir vs Petrocub prediction: EUROPE: Conference League – League phase betting tips on match 2024-11-26 15:30.
[p]İstanbul Başakşehir are still looking for their first UEFA Conference League victory since qualifying for the league phase in August (D1, L2). Their confidence will probably have taken a further dent after their 3-0 Turkish Süper Lig defeat to Gaziantep on Saturday, a result which saw their winless run in all competitions stretch to nine games (D4, L5). [/p]

[p]Başakşehir have, however, lost just two of their previous 11 Conference League home matches including qualifiers (W7, D2), scoring at least three times in five of those victories. But in their last two domestic encounters, Çağdaş Atan’s men haven’t found the net, meaning that Wednesday could be the first time since September 2023 – a week before Atan was appointed as manager – that the Grey Owls fail to score in three successive games. [/p]

[p]The Turkish side’s hopes of avoiding a repeat of that statistic will be greatly boosted by the fact that upcoming opponents Petrocub Hîncești have made an even worse start to the Conference League than they have. The Moldovan side have lost all three of their league-phase matches to date to sit bottom of the table ahead of their midweek clash. [/p]

[p]That means Petrocub’s wait for a first-ever main-draw European win goes on, and preparations for their trip to the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium were less than ideal as they lost 1-0 on Saturday in domestic league action. To compound matters, Andrei Martin’s side have now tasted victory just once in their last five away matches (D2, L2) – scoring only three times in the process – while the Moldovans’ sole previous meeting with Turkish opposition saw them lose 2-0 on aggregate to Sivasspor in the 2021/22 Conference League qualifiers. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Krzysztof Piątek scored Başakşehir’s most recent goal, with his last six goalscoring appearances seeing both teams on the day find the net (W2, D2, L2). For the opposition, Sergiu Plӑtică scored Petrocub’s last goal, while his previous strike to that came in UEFA Champions League qualifying in July.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Başakşehir haven’t scored before the 40th minute in their last six home games (W2, D3, L1). [/p]
