Mlada Boleslav vs Betis prediction: EUROPE: Conference League – League phase betting tips on match 2024-11-27 20:00.
[p]As just one of four clubs without a victory in this season’s new UEFA Conference League format (L3), Mladá Boleslav desperately need a spark to ignite their hopes. But by dragging with them a three-game winless streak (D2, L1), a side sitting in a lowly tenth position in the Czech First League will seemingly need to pull off a miracle in order to beat visitors Real Betis, who have participated in the UEFA Europa League for the past four campaigns.[/p]
[p]To make matters worse, the Czech club have found the back of the net just once in the Conference League proper so far and are winless in their last seven home games in any competition (D5, L2). They’ve not exactly made it easy for themselves across those games, having trailed in five of them, so they’ll be keen to avoid another slow start here.  [/p]
[p]Their Spanish visitors have been struggling of late too, receiving a 4-2 hammering at an inspired Valencia side which will do little for their travelling confidence. That result left Betis boss Manuel Pellegrini stunned, stating that he could “barely explain” their disastrous start to the second-half that saw his side concede three goals in just six minutes. [/p]
[p]Perhaps Betis, who have a mixed record in the Conference League so far (W1, D1, L1) and dangle just a point above the elimination spots, will find encouragement from having won five of their six previous contests against Czech teams (L1). But it should be noted that their single defeat came against Sparta Prague (1-0) the last time they played such a side![/p]
[p]Key battle: Boleslav youngster Matyáš Vojta is one to watch out for early, as he’s scored before half-time in both of his side’s last two home games. He may face Betis defender Marc Bartra, who will be looking to keep his side’s first clean sheet in six games. If he scores though, it could spell trouble, as only two of his nine scoring appearances for the club ended in victory (D5, L2)! [/p]
[p]Hot stat: Betis have scored in the second half in each of their last four away games![/p]
