TNS Djurgarden prediction 2024-11-28

TNS vs Djurgarden prediction: EUROPE: Conference League – League phase betting tips on match 2024-11-27 17:45.
[p]The Cymru Premier’s first ever side to feature in the main draw of a European competition, TNS return to UEFA Conference League action with the wind in their sails. TNS had recently secured progression in the Welsh League Cup and Welsh FA Cup respectively prior to hosting Penybont in a top-of-the-table clash in the Cymru Premier, only to launch a mesmerising comeback from 2-0 down to win 3-2![/p]

[p]That match was at their own ground, Park Hall, but they’ll once again make their way to the Croud Meadow in Shrewsbury for this tie with DjurgĂ„rden, the venue where they beat Astana 2-0 in their last ‘home’ Conference League game. Either side of that famous victory were two respectable defeats away to Fiorentina (2-0) and Shamrock Rovers (2-1), and there’ll be a fear Craig Harrison’s men could struggle again here since they’ve lost five of their six previous encounters against Swedish opposition (D1). [/p]

[p]DjurgĂ„rden will take that as an invitation to try and climb the Conference League table, after a stuttering start that saw them post a perfectly split record across their first three league phase outings (W1, D1, L1). They’ve made life difficult for themselves by conceding first in each of those games, just like they did in their only two prior matches against a Welsh side which both came way back in 1975 against Wrexham (D1, L1).[/p]

[p]Hitting the road has proven difficult wherever the Iron Stoves have gone lately, with their only success in their last six away matches being a domestic cup win against lower league Jarfalla (D2, L3). That encompasses a 2-2 draw with Austria’s LASK in the league phase’s opening round, meaning they’ve also won just once in their last six trips in European competition (D3, L2). [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Jordan Williams got an assist in the win over Astana before scoring against Shamrock Rovers, the latter contributing to him netting the match opener in four of his five goal scoring outings this season. His efforts may be in vain if DjurgĂ„rden’s Deniz HĂŒmmet has his way, since he scored his side’s second goal in six of his last seven winning goal scoring appearances in all competitions.[/p]

[p]Hot streak: TNS’ last nine competitive matches all produced a winner despite both teams scoring on each occasion.[/p]
