PSG Nantes prediction 2024-11-30

PSG vs Nantes prediction: FRANCE: Ligue 1 betting tips on match 2024-11-29 20:00.
[p]While a 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich continued their UEFA Champions League struggles, PSG are experiencing no such issues domestically where their dominance is as apparent as ever. Luis Enrique’s men enter the weekend with a six-point lead at the Ligue 1 summit having won five successive league matches, keeping clean sheets in each of the last three.[/p]

[p]PSG have also won six successive league outings on home soil at the Parc des Princes, giving them the opportunity to string together seven consecutive victories there for the first time since January 2023. There’ll be every expectation the Parisians can achieve that here given that they’ve won each of the last five H2Hs against Nantes by an aggregate scoreline of 15-3![/p]

[p]Nantes, meanwhile, find themselves at the other end of the table, sitting inside the relegation zone after losing their last four matches, conceding 2+ goals in each. Only twice before have they lost more top-flight matches in succession, but that’s a reality staring under-fire manager Antoine Kombouaré in the face at present, who retains board support despite an ongoing nine-match winless run (D3, L6). [/p]

[p]That said, Nantes’ last two victories in this fixture came when Kombouaré was in charge during his previous spell at the club between 2021 and 2022, the first of which came at the Parc des Princes. The size of this task cannot be understated though, as Nantes have been beaten by PSG 27 times since the turn of the century in Ligue 1, and another defeat would move them into the outright lead for losses against the Parisians in that time.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Vitinha backed up his three assists for Portugal during November’s international break by scoring against Toulouse last weekend (3-0), while he also created the opener in last season’s corresponding fixture. Moses Simon scored the winner the last time Nantes won on this ground, but he’s netted just once for club and country since late August.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: PSG have scored in their last 26 Ligue 1 games against Nantes – their longest such streak against a single opponent. [/p]
