Genoa Torino prediction 2024-12-07

Genoa vs Torino prediction: ITALY: Serie A betting tips on match 2024-12-06 14:00.
[p]After picking up only six points across their opening ten matches of the Serie A campaign, Genoa are now unbeaten in four league outings (W2, D2). They’ve picked up eight points during this run – which also coincidentally corresponds with the arrival of striker Mario Balotelli – including a first win for their new coach Patrick Vieira last time out when they beat Udinese 2-0. [/p]

[p]Vieira has a clear goal in sight here as Genoa are one of only two Serie A teams yet to win at home this season (D5, L3) but they seem to be on the right path as they’ve avoided defeat in three of their last four such matches (D3). Perhaps changing the habit of conceding first could help to achieve that maiden victory, as Genoa have leaked the first goal in each of their last seven home matches![/p]

[p]Unlike their hosts, Torino weren’t able to end their crisis over the weekend as they lost 1-0 to league-leading Napoli, which served as their fourth defeat across the last five matches. Worryingly for coach Paolo Vanoli, the visitors have failed to score in each of those defeats and he’ll have to come up with a solution quickly as the Granata have scored 2+ goals just once across their last seven matches after the injury of star striker Duván Zapata [/p]

[p]After winning two of their opening three away league matches this season, Torino are now on a run of four straight defeats, conceding first in the opening half in all four. A trip to Genoa could change that however, as Torino have avoided defeat in five of the last six H2Hs held here, winning four of those in the process (D1, L1).[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Andrea Pinamonti has scored the opener in four of his last five scoring matches, including the 2-0 win last time out. Torino’s Adam Masina netted their only goal across the last five matches, but has also received three yellow cards in his last six club appearances too. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: There have been at least ten corners in five of Genoa’s last six matches.[/p]
