Fulham Arsenal prediction 2024-12-08

Fulham vs Arsenal prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2024-12-07 14:00.
[p]Both Fulham and Arsenal will be high on confidence going into Sunday’s meeting between the sides after overcoming tough tests to win by two goals in midweek. Despite a somewhat unconvincing performance on Thursday against Brighton, Fulham secured a 3-1 victory which took them to 22 points – their highest-ever Premier League tally after 14 matches.[/p]

[p]For the third successive match at Craven Cottage, there were two goals after the 75th minute, while Fulham’s ground has witnessed both teams on the day scoring in all seven of their fixtures there so far this term. That outcome also occurred when Marco Silva’s men beat Arsenal 2-1 last December, as the Cottagers unexpectedly ended an 11-game winless H2H run (D3, L8).[/p]

[p]Arsenal’s rapid improvement since the last international break continued in midweek as they saw off Manchester United 2-0, with both goals coming from corners. The Gunners have netted an astonishing 41 times from corners since the start of 2021/22 – at least seven more than any other team going into the weekend! It was also a fourth successive win by 2+ goals, a feat that they have replicated on four of their last five trips to Fulham. [/p]

[p]Arsenal have been particularly ruthless on their travels recently, with an incredible eight of their ten goals across their last two away matches coming before half-time, with six different players finding the net in that time. That trend continuing in a London derby certainly looks likely too given that Mikel Arteta’s men last failed to score in a capital clash on the road at arch-rivals Tottenham back in May 2022 (W12, D3, L2 since). [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Former Arsenal man Alex Iwobi is in the form of his life, and after scoring twice against Brighton, he has directly contributed to more goals for Fulham this season (eight) than in the whole of last term (seven). Jürrien Timber, meanwhile, got his first Arsenal goal in midweek, extending his 100% winning record to seven games when he has scored. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Arsenal’s last nine away matches have all seen their opponents on the day receive the first yellow card. [/p]
