Molde Mlada Boleslav prediction 2024-12-19

Molde vs Mlada Boleslav prediction: EUROPE: Conference League – League phase betting tips on match 2024-12-18 20:00.
[p]After losing in the Norwegian Cup final, a result which confirms that Molde will have no European involvement through domestic means after finishing fifth in their league, the club parted ways with Erling Moe after almost six years at the helm. Whilst Molde continues to search for a replacement, they face the very real prospect of ending their season here if they cannot win on the final day to overtake Mladá Boleslav and regain a chance of qualification. [/p]

[p]Failing to qualify from a European group/league phase would be no huge shock for Molde, who failed to progress in the same competition in two of their last three attempts at this stage. Playing at home should at least provide a boost given the Norwegian side have lost just four times in Conference League action here (W7, D1) whilst scoring at least three goals in all of their victories. [/p]

[p]Opposition Mladá Boleslav are a side arguably with more match sharpness as their domestic league campaign continues in earnest, albeit most recently with a 3-1 defeat that ended their seven-match unbeaten run across all competitions (W5, D2). This will be the fifth time Mladá Boleslav have played against Norwegian opponents, with their positive record against such sides (W2, D1, L1) suggesting that they could outplay their outsider status. [/p]

[p]Led by Swedish boss Andreas Brännström, the away side have enjoyed some fine form during his short tenure (W9, D7, L5), which could culminate in a first progression from a group/league phase in Europe for the Czech outfit. A draw will likely be enough to secure progression whilst a victory will guarantee their place in the top 24, although back-to-back Conference League away defeats ahead of this could give rise to feelings of trepidation. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Frederik Ihler put Molde 2-0 up within half an hour of their latest Conference League game and he remains unbeaten across his last 12 scoring club appearances (W10, D2). For Mladá Boleslav, Patrik Vydra scored decisively in their last two Conference League games and three of his four scoring appearances this season came in Europe. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Mladá Boleslav have failed to score in only one of their last 14 away games. [/p]
