Juventus AC Milan prediction 2025-01-18

Juventus vs AC Milan prediction: ITALY: Serie A betting tips on match 2025-01-17 17:00.
[p]It was hardly a surprise when Juventus registered yet another draw against Atalanta in midweek – a league-high 13th for them this Serie A campaign (W7). Despite that draw stretching their unbeaten run in the division, it also extended their winless streak in competitive matches (D3, L1), with the defeat in that sequence coming against AC Milan in the Supercoppa Italiana earlier this month.[/p]

[p]Juventus return to the Allianz Stadium for the first time since another disappointing draw against Fiorentina (2-2) saw them finish 2024 unbeaten in all ten of their home Serie A matches this season (W3, D7), but also winless in their last three such outings – with each of those games ending 2-2. And given that the Old Lady’s last two league meetings with Milan have been goalless, fans should perhaps be prepared for another stalemate![/p]

[p]Milan will travel to Turin with the aim of ending their drought, as they have failed to score against the Bianconeri in three consecutive Serie A games (D2, L1). The Rossoneri seem to be in much better shape after the arrival of new manager Sérgio Conceição though, having won three of the four matches under his leadership so far (D1), including a 2-1 comeback victory over Como in midweek, which was the third encounter out of those four to see them net at least twice.[/p]

[p]The visitors have now won back-to-back away league matches for the first time this season and will now aim to win three such outings in a row for the first time since March 2024. That would certainly be a welcome boost in their still-sizeable task to get into the top four, as Milan are currently five points off that target, albeit with a game in hand.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: On loan from Milan, Pierre Kalulu scored for Juventus last time out, meaning that he has opened the scoring with each of his last three Serie A goals. With Álvaro Morata suspended, all eyes will be on Rafael Leão, who netted the winner against Como – his tenth successive goalscoring appearance for club and country without an accompanying clean sheet. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Eight of Juventus’ last ten matches in all competitions have seen both teams score, including each of the last five.[/p]
