Udinese Venezia prediction 2025-02-01

Udinese vs Venezia prediction: ITALY: Serie A betting tips on match 2025-01-31 14:00.
[p]Six goals conceded across their last two Serie A matches (L2) has contributed to giving Udinese the seventh-worst defensive record (GA34) in the division ahead of the round, and stretched their winless run to five matches (D3, L2). Despite entering this weekend 11th, a mere six-point buffer to the bottom three won’t have Udinese sitting comfortably.[/p]

[p]After winning six of their first seven competitive home matches (L1), Udinese are winless in each of their last six outings at Stadio Friuli (D2, L4), including a 2-1 defeat against Roma last time out. That negative run comes despite leading 1-0 at half-time in three of their last four home matches, keeping a first-half clean sheet in all four, but conceding at least twice in the second half on three occasions highlights some obvious frailties. [/p]

[p]That should bring some confidence to visiting Venezia who won the reverse fixture 3-2 despite going 2-0 down inside the opening 25 minutes. But the visitors have their own issues of late as their 1-1 draw against Verona stretched their current run to only one victory in 12 matches (D5, L6) and kept them in the relegation zone with a four-point deficit to safety.[/p]

[p]The visitors remain the only Serie A side yet to win on the road this season (D4, L7), but two of their four away points came across their last three trips (L1). Venezia have scored before the break just once across their last five away outings, which may be a problem here given their host’s strong first-half performances, while the visitors have also only kept one clean sheet when travelling this term.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Udinese’s Sandi Lovrić has registered two assists and received two yellow cards across his last six matches, whilst he also netted the opener in the reverse fixture. Alessio Zerbin scored his first goal for Venezia last time out after moving from Napoli earlier his month, but that actually turned out to be his first goalscoring appearance in seven in which he failed to finish on the winning side (W6, D1).[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Udinese have scored nine of their 12 home Serie A goals this term before the 50th minute.[/p]
