Osasuna Getafe prediction 2025-03-16

Osasuna vs Getafe prediction: SPAIN: LaLiga betting tips on match 2025-03-15 17:30.
[p]Due to a recent downturn in form, it’s looking increasingly likely that Osasuna will be nervously looking over their shoulders for the remainder of this La Liga campaign as opposed to keeping an eye on those challenging for the European places. An enthralling 3-3 draw last time out with Valencia proved a spectacle for the neutral but it further extended the hosts’ winless La Liga run to four matches (D3, L1). [/p]

[p]Despite the fact that the hosts now have just one win to their name across their last seven home league fixtures (D5, L1), Osasuna remain tough to beat on their own turf, picking up 24 points here this season compared to just nine on the road. They look good value to add to that tally against a Getafe side they’ve lost just one of their last 11 league H2Hs against at this venue (W4, D6), while the postponement of their clash with Barcelona last week means they should be well rested here. [/p]

[p]Visiting Getafe claimed a massive victory by beating Atlético Madrid 2-1 in dramatic fashion last week. Despite conceding the opening goal in the 75th minute, José Bordalás’ side rallied to score twice after the 85th minute to promote themselves up to 12th ahead of this latest matchday and above their opponents here by virtue of goal difference. [/p]

[p]The Azulones will now look to put further distance between themselves and the relegation places by claiming another victory on their travels. That could be deemed likely too, as so far in 2025 Getafe have won four of their five league matches on their travels (L1), the most of any side ahead of the weekend, and encouragingly all four came against sides who start this round in the bottom half alongside Osasuna. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Aimar Oroz struck twice for Osasuna last time out which extended his unbeaten run in goalscoring appearances for the club to nine matches (W7, D2). Getafe will look to Mauro Arambarri for inspiration as he also netted a La Liga brace last weekend and has never been on the losing side in nine prior H2Hs. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Getafe’s La Liga matches this season have averaged a league-low 1.67 total goals. [/p]
