Juventus Genoa prediction 2025-03-29

Juventus vs Genoa prediction: ITALY: Serie A betting tips on match 2025-03-28 17:00.
[p]A 3-0 defeat against Fiorentina was not the reaction Juventus wanted after their 4-0 humiliation by Atalanta, as they lost consecutive Serie A matches by at least three goals for only the third time in history. Those results mean that the Bianconeri have now slipped out of the top four, with four defeats in their last six games across all competitions (W2) hardly good form to take into their upcoming encounter against mid-table Genoa. [/p]

[p]It probably came as little surprise then that Juve sacked head coach Thiago Motta during the international break after just eight months in charge, appointing former defender Igor Tudor in his place until the end of the campaign. Starting his reign at home could come in handy as the Old Lady have only lost there once in Serie A this season (W7, D7), albeit it was their last such fixture (4-0 vs Atalanta).[/p]

[p]Genoa’s hopes of finishing strongly to secure a top-half finish received a huge boost ahead of the international break when Patrick Vieira’s men beat Lecce 2-1 to end a three-game winless run (D2, L1). The Rossoblù are still five points adrift of tenth place, but their record in matches against the current top-nine sides this season (W0, D4, L8) suggests those hopes won’t receive a boost this weekend.[/p]

[p]That awful sequence of results includes a 3-0 defeat at home to Juve in September that saw Genoa fail to score in back-to-back H2Hs for the first time since January 2018. The visitors are also yet to win a single away match this calendar year (D3, L3), and considering the last time they won on the road against Juventus was back in 1991 (D5, L19 since), that’s another negative omen they may struggle to overcome here.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Dušan Vlahović scored a second-half brace in the reverse fixture (3-0), with three of his four career H2H goals arriving after the break. On loan from Juventus, Fabio Miretti netted twice in Genoa’s win over Lecce earlier this month, with three of his last five competitive strikes arriving inside 20 minutes.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Juventus are unbeaten in all 15 Serie A matches this season against teams starting this round of fixtures in the bottom half of the table (W9, D6).[/p]
