Valladolid Getafe prediction 2025-04-06

Valladolid vs Getafe prediction: SPAIN: LaLiga betting tips on match 2025-04-05 16:30.
[p]In the midst of a ten-match winless streak (D1, L9) – their worst in La Liga since May 2021 – Real Valladolid begin the weekend a whopping 11 points adrift of safety. Relegation back to the second tier for the third time in as many top-flight campaigns has long appeared inevitable, and a tricky fixture schedule could seal their fate with top-six opposition awaiting them in three of their next five matches.[/p]

[p]Defensive struggles have proved their undoing, with only Osasuna (69) in 2016/17 conceding more than Valladolid’s 65 at this stage of a La Liga season this century. Two of those came in defeat to Getafe in the reverse fixture (2-0), but the hosts may be hopeful of just a fifth league win of the season as they have never previously lost both H2Hs in a season against this opponent.[/p]

[p]Getafe have remarkably never won an away game against Valladolid in any competition (D6, L5), only facing Barcelona more often in La Liga specifically without winning an away H2H. The Azulones will surely feel the time to break their duck is now after a strong run of five wins from  their last six away league games (L1), with that sequence following a ten-match winless streak on the road in this competition (D2, L8).[/p]

[p]Each of their last three outings have ended 2-1, with back-to-back victories over Atlético Madrid and Osasuna followed by defeat to Villarreal. A similarly tight affair would be far from a surprise here as Getafe’s defence has been breached just 25 times this season – only two sides boast better defensive records pre-round – while they and Valladolid are the two lowest scorers in the division.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Juanmi Latasa has scored Valladolid’s last three goals in La Liga and could become the first player to score four consecutive goals for the club in the competition since December 2013. All-action forward Christantus Uche has either directly contributed to a goal or been yellow carded in eight of his last 11 appearances across all competitions (G2, A4, Y6)![/p]

[p]Hot stat: There have been exactly three total goals in five of Getafe’s last six matches.[/p]
