Getafe vs Las Palmas prediction: SPAIN: LaLiga betting tips on match 2025-04-11 14:15.
[p]Getafe remain within touching distance of their first European campaign since 2019/20 after continuing their excellent calendar year with a 4-0 demolition of last-placed Real Valladolid. Seven of their ten La Liga wins this season have been recorded in 2025 (D2, L3) and they now have a chance to add a Las Palmas league double to the ones already earned over other relegation candidates Valladolid and Alavés. [/p]
[p]Their resurgence this year began with a 2-1 victory at Las Palmas and that result was seemingly a sign of things to come for José Bordalás’ side, who have seen five of their last seven league games end 2-1. They haven’t been on the right end of those results too often at home of late, as Getafe have won just one of their last six home league games (D2, L3) and they’re one of just two La Liga teams pre-round to average more points on the road than at home.[/p]
[p]In stark contrast to their hosts, Las Palmas’ fortunes have turned in the other direction since the reverse H2H. January’s loss to Getafe ended a run of six wins in nine La Liga matches and began a 12-game winless stretch (D4, L8), one which means they start this round four points inside the bottom three, but with ten of those 12 winless game seeing both teams score, they’ve at least provided entertainment value throughout.[/p]
[p]Unfortunately for the visitors, they haven’t recorded more than one goal in a La Liga away match since a famous 2-1 win away to Barcelona in late November. Those scoring deficiencies have been partially responsible for them not winning on the road in this competition since then (D3, L4), but it’s certain that one away league clean sheet all season won’t have helped either. [/p]
[p]Players to watch: One of Borja Mayoral’s five competitive goals this season – all of which arrived after the hour mark – came in the reverse H2H, with his last three goalscoring appearances finishing 2-1 to either team. Ironically, Las Palmas’ Adnan Januzaj has contributed to three career goals against Getafe, with all three coming in 2-1 losses! [/p]
[p]Hot stat: Getafe are one of two clubs yet to concede more than two goals in a La Liga game this season. [/p]
