Parma Como prediction 2025-05-03

Parma vs Como prediction: ITALY: Serie A betting tips on match 2025-05-02 13:00.
[p]Following a 1-0 win over Juventus, Parma were on course to take out another European hopeful when they led Lazio 2-0. They collapsed to draw 2-2 in the end, although the result did extend their unbeaten streak to seven matches (W1, D6), a run which has helped them open up a seven-point cushion to the drop zone and should prove sufficient to extend their top-flight stay with only four games remaining.[/p]

[p]The job certainly isn’t done just yet, as Parma close out the campaign with a tricky set of fixtures that include table-topping Napoli, top-four chasers Atalanta and an in-form Como. Their preparations for this clash have perhaps been thrown off a little by news that boss Cristian Chivu is reportedly on Roma’s managerial shortlist, but they at least have history on their side here as Parma boast a 15-match unbeaten home league H2H record against Como (W9, D6). [/p]

[p]With the league’s longest active winning streak (four) after a 1-0 win over Genoa last weekend, Como look well placed to finally bring an end to that torrid record. The Lariani have now won four top-flight matches in a row for the first time since 1952 and have also netted in 11 consecutive Serie A games which is their best such scoring streak since 1950, form which has opened the door for a potential top-ten finish.[/p]

[p]The club’s success has led to rumours of head coach Cesc FĂ bregas – like his opposite number Chivu – being touted as Roma’s next manager. FĂ bregas’s primary objective for the time being will be to ensure Como end the season on a high, and after consecutive wins on the road, they could now win three Serie A away games in a row for the first time since May 1950. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Jacob Ondrejka netted a brace for Parma in the 2-2 draw against Lazio and his other league goal this season came in another 2-2 draw (vs Inter). Nico Paz hasn’t scored for Como since February, but if he’s to snap that streak here it could be the last strike of the match, as was the case with four of his last six league goals.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Ahead of the round, Como have conceded a joint-league high 11 Serie A goals after the 80th minute this season.[/p]
