Lazio Torino prediction 2025-10-04

Lazio vs Torino prediction: ITALY: Serie A betting tips on match 2025-10-03 13:00.
[p]Lazio have seemingly been handed the perfect fixture in which they can put some recent disappointment behind them, as they host a Torino side who they’ve historically enjoyed facing.[/p]

[p]Match News and Current Form[/p]

[p]It has been an inconsistent start to the season for Lazio, whose 3-0 success against Genoa on Monday was only a second win of the campaign (L3). Their six-point haul after five rounds is fewer than they’ve managed in nine of the last ten Serie A seasons, but with the one occasion in which they accumulated fewer still seeing them end the campaign in the European places, they won’t be panicking just yet. Boss Maurizio Sarri may be getting slightly twitchy though if his side can’t turn around some wretched home form which has seen them win just two of the last 14 Serie A games they’ve hosted (D8, L4). [/p]

[p]Torino are another team yet to get going this season as they’ve picked up a solitary league victory so far under new boss Marco Baroni (D1, L3), who took the reins in the summer. A 2-1 reversal to Parma in the last round did little to help his attempts to win round the Torino supporters, and with Torino conceding a joint-league high of ten goals ahead of this round, it’s clear for all to see where their Achilles’ heel is. Supporters can at least draw some hope from the fact they’ve already won on this ground this season, beating Roma 1-0 in what is their only avoidance of defeat in their last six Serie A away games (L5). [/p]

[p]Head-to-Head History[/p]

[p]Lazio have enjoyed playing Torino in recent years, losing only one of the last 12 H2Hs (W6, D5). At home though, they’ve only won two of the last eight meetings (D5, L1). [/p]

[p]Hot Stats and Streaks[/p]

[p]None of Lazio’s five league outings this season have seen both teams score.[/p]

[p]Ahead of the round, only two Serie A teams are averaging fewer corners per game than Lazio (3.6).[/p]

[p]Torino have trailed at half-time in a pre-round joint-league high three matches.[/p]

[p]Torino are one of only two teams in the division yet to score a first-half goal in this campaign.[/p]

[p]Key Players to Watch and Missing Players[/p]

[p]Lazio stopper Ivan Provedel has made a joint-league high of 20 saves ahead of this round, making 4+ saves in four of his five appearances this season. Torino forward Giovanni Simeone will hope to break his resolve and has seen seven of his last eight goals serve as the first or last of the game.[/p]

[p]Lazio will be without Matteo Guendouzi, Nicolò Rovella and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, while Torino might be missing Tino Anjorin.[/p]

[p]Betting Analysis[/p]

[p]The hosts will hope to kick on after their win over Genoa, and a Lazio win with a clean sheet could carry some value.[/p]
