Alaves Valencia prediction 2025-05-14

Alaves vs Valencia prediction: SPAIN: LaLiga betting tips on match 2025-05-13 17:00.
[p]Many La Liga fans thought that a game between AlavĂ©s and Valencia at this stage of the season would have represented a relegation ‘six-pointer’. The game still carries huge importance for AlavĂ©s who, after a 1-0 defeat to Athletic Club at the weekend, hover just a point above the drop zone ahead of the matchday, although they were unbeaten in three games beforehand (W1, D2).[/p]

[p]Three triumphs from the last four La Liga H2Hs (D1) could provide the perfect platform to find their feet again, but having scored a measly three goals from their last nine home league outings, La Liga’s second-lowest scoring home side this season may have their work cut out. They don’t leak many goals though, as they only conceded more than once in one of their last 12 home league games, with all 12 of those games seeing under 2.5 goals.[/p]

[p]That run faces arguably its sternest test yet against a Valencia side who are incredibly now in contention for European football. Considering they looked down and out at the start of the year having won just twice, heaps of praise has to go to new manager Carlos Corberån, who has turned around the fortunes of a side which had gained just 12 points from a possible 54 (W2, D6, L10) before his arrival. [/p]

[p]He now has nine victories from his 18 La Liga games in charge of Valencia (D6, L3), the latest of which saw his side take Getafe apart 3-0. That victory also made it ten league games unbeaten for Valencia for the first time since 2019, with their current six-game unbeaten away run (W2, D4) in the league also the best since late 2017. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Scorer of AlavĂ©s’ last league goal in April, AlavĂ©s defender Nahuel Tenaglia has won each of his three personal H2Hs, but was booked in two of them. Striking for Valencia last time out, Pepelu has opened the scoring with all three of his goals this term.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Valencia have scored after half-time in their last nine away league games.[/p]
