AS Roma Napoli prediction 2025-11-30

AS Roma vs Napoli prediction: ITALY: Serie A betting tips on match 2025-11-29 19:45.
[p]Serie A has thrown up an eye-catching clash this weekend between reigning champions Napoli and the side who were best-placed to knock them off their perch pre-round, Roma.[/p]

[p]Match News and Current Form[/p]

[p]Roma start this round at the Serie A summit after a solid 12-game start (W9, L3) in which they have certainly raised a few eyebrows. Their tally of 27 points is the most they’ve accumulated at this stage since 2017/18 and incredibly, this is the first Serie A round the Giallorossi have come into sitting in top spot outright since 2015/16! A 2-1 midweek win over Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League served as the perfect preparation as Gian Piero Gasperini’s men bid to preserve their spot at the summit, with that also their sixth win from their last seven competitive outings (L1). Yet two defeats from two so far against sides who, like Napoli, join Roma in the top four pre-round is a stark reminder they can take nothing for granted here. [/p]

[p]Napoli assume the role of chasers in the title race, beginning this round two points behind Roma which owes largely to some stuttering form across the last three rounds (W1, D1, L1). They were at least back in the win column last weekend by beating Atalanta 3-1, and following that up with a 2-0 win over Qarabağ in midweek UEFA Champions League action means they have momentum behind them here. That might not be enough to snap a woeful run of form on the road which has seen Antonio Conte’s men lose five of their last six competitive away games (D1) and fail to score from open play on their Serie A travels since September. [/p]

[p]Head-to-Head History[/p]

[p]Napoli are unbeaten in ten of the last 11 Serie A H2Hs (W6, D4) and have lost on only two of their last nine visits to Roma (W5, D2).[/p]

[p]Hot Stats and Streaks[/p]

[p]Roma haven’t conceded more than once across their last seven games. [/p]

[p]Five of Roma’s seven home league goals this season arrived after half-time.[/p]

[p]The away side on the day has failed to score before half-time in Napoli’s last six Serie A games. [/p]

[p]Only one of Napoli’s last six matches saw both teams score.[/p]

[p]Key Players to Watch and Missing Players[/p]

[p]Evan Ferguson opened his Roma account last weekend – he’s netted the second goal of the game on four of his last five scoring club appearances. Rasmus Højlund was the last Napoli player to score from open play in Serie A away action, with four of his last six club-level strikes arriving after the 70th minute. [/p]

[p]Roma’s Manu Koné was withdrawn with an injury on Thursday. Napoli’s long injury list is headlined by midfielders André-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Kevin De Bruyne.[/p]
