From their best four-game start to a Ligue 1 campaign in over a decade (W2, D1, L1) to losing four consecutive league matches, Auxerre have shown real Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde characteristics after eight rounds. Failing to recover from slow starts has been Auxerre’s biggest downfall of late, with each of their five Ligue 1 defeats this term seeing them concede before the 30-minute mark.
