B. Monchengladbach Dortmund prediction 2024-04-13

B. Monchengladbach vs Dortmund prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2024-04-12 13:30.
[p]Borussia Mönchengladbach ended their four-match winless streak in the Bundesliga (D1, L3) by beating Wolfsburg 3-1 on Sunday to lift themselves eight points clear of the relegation zone. They did it the hard way after going behind in the first ten minutes, but it was the perfect time to win for the first time in the league this term after allowing their opponents to score first.[/p]

[p]With just one win across their last five home league fixtures (D2, L2), Foals manager Gerardo Seoane called for them to play a different way at Wolfsburg by keeping more men behind the ball. He may be tempted to try a similar tactic as they try to make it four home league wins in a row against Borussia Dortmund, something they haven’t achieved since doing so in April 1972![/p]

[p]Dortmund lost ground on the Bundesliga’s top four by losing 1-0 to Stuttgart last weekend, after which manager Edin Terzić rued them making “one error too many”. But they were similarly error-strewn against Atlético Madrid in the Champions League in midweek too (L 2-1) and although comfortably clear of sixth-placed Frankfurt, they still face a battle to achieve a top-four finish.[/p]

[p]Yet if European places were handed out for performances on the road, then Dortmund would be sitting pretty as only leaders Leverkusen have bettered their league away record this term (W7, D6, L1). Borussia-Park has become a tricky place for the Black and Yellows to come in recent seasons as they’ve lost the last three Bundesliga H2Hs here, so this promises to test a defence that’s conceded just twice in league away games this calendar year (W5, D2).[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Nathan Ngoumou’s goal for Gladbach against Wolfsburg was his fifth in the league this season, with the last two both arriving between the 50th and 60th minute. Sébastien Haller’s late strike for Dortmund against Atlético kept them in the tie, while it was his fifth consecutive goal for them to arrive on the road.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Four of Gladbach’s last five league fixtures produced exactly one first-half goal (HT: W1, D1, L3).[/p]
