B. Monchengladbach Stuttgart prediction 2024-09-14

B. Monchengladbach vs Stuttgart prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2024-09-13 13:30.
[p]Borussia Mönchengladbach bounced back from a 3-2 matchday one defeat to reigning Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen by beating Bochum 2-0 heading into the international break. The Foals now have the opportunity to make it back-to-back league victories when they welcome Stuttgart to North Rhine-Westphalia, although concerningly in that quest, the hosts have only won three of the last ten H2Hs at any venue (D2, L5). [/p]

[p]Both of Gladbach’s last two wins against their upcoming opponents have at least taken place over the past two seasons at Borussia-Park, knowledge that can perhaps inspire the players to end a frustrating six-game winless Bundesliga home run (D3, L3). That’s their worst such streak since going ten top-flight matches without winning on their own patch between February and August 2019 (D4, L6)![/p]

[p]After qualifying for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in 15 years following a scarcely believable second-placed finish last season, the start of this new campaign has been underwhelming for Stuttgart. They find themselves with just one point after two games, despite having led in both of their games this term – incredibly they’re one of four Bundesliga teams to score first in their opening two league games, but the only one not to win at least once![/p]

[p]Conceding three goals in both of their league encounters so far this term certainly hasn’t helped their quest to hold onto a lead, and were they to suffer the same fate at Gladbach, it would be the first time that they had let in at least three goals in three successive Bundesliga games since January 2019 – the season in which they last suffered relegation to the second tier![/p]

[p]Players to watch: Tim Kleindienst has hit the ground running since joining Gladbach from Heidenheim in July (G2, A1), with ten of his last 11 Bundesliga goals having arrived on or beyond the 65th minute. Jamie Leweling got on the scoresheet in Stuttgart’s last outing against Mainz, and oddly, the last four times he has found the net have been in games when his team has scored exactly three goals. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: There has been a goal on or beyond the 80th minute in six of Stuttgart’s last eight matches across all competitions. [/p]
