Bayer Leverkusen Bayern Munich prediction 2025-02-15

Bayer Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2025-02-14 17:30.
[p]It’s hard to see how Bayer Leverkusen can retain their Bundesliga crown without getting something out of this top-of-the-table clash with Bayern Munich as they trail the leaders by eight points with 13 games remaining. Last weekend’s 0-0 stalemate with Wolfsburg was another missed chance and cause for frustration as they’ve drawn two of their last three league games (W1).[/p]

[p]That added to a tally of seven Bundesliga stalemates already this term, but only two of them were at home (W8, L1) and Leverkusen will have happy memories of the 3-0 H2H win here last term which swung the title race decisively in their favour. Something similar is now required, and it would mean them making history as they’ve never previously won three consecutive home league H2Hs![/p]

[p]Following that 3-0 H2H defeat last February, Bayern were unable to recover and eventually played out a rare trophyless season, so they won’t need reminding of how important getting a result at the BayArena could be. They’re in good shape considering they’ve won their last seven league games to put themselves in control atop the standings, scoring an impressive average of 3.29 goals per game during that sequence.[/p]

[p]But despite that goalscoring threat, they have found the going a little tougher on the road of late in the Bundesliga (W3, D1, L1) with all four of those non-drawn games decided by one-goal margins. That trend continued on Wednesday night when Vincent Kompany’s side got the job done against Celtic, winning 2-1 in the UEFA Champions League knockout phase play-off first leg.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Patrik Schick has scored four times across Leverkusen’s last five games in all competitions, with the last three of those goals arriving after the 50th minute. Leroy Sané netted in Bayern’s last league game (W 3-0 v Werder Bremen) and all seven of his goalscoring appearances this term came in fixtures producing over 2.5 goals.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: In clashes such as these between sides occupying the Bundesliga’s top two positions, only one of the last seven was won by the side in first place (D5, L1).[/p]
