Bayer Leverkusen Eintracht Frankfurt prediction 2024-10-19

Bayer Leverkusen vs Eintracht Frankfurt prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2024-10-18 13:30.
[p]Following two consecutive Bundesliga draws ahead of the international break against Bayern Munich and new boys Holstein Kiel in which Bayer Leverkusen squandered leads, boss Xabi Alonso will be determined to get back to winning ways. His side sit just three points from the top of the table, although this clash against third-place Eintracht Frankfurt may be a big indicator of their championship credentials. [/p]

[p]Head-to-head history indicates we should get some form of winner here with none of the last 19 clashes between these sides ending level, with Leverkusen having impressively won each of the last nine home H2Hs. Couple that with Leverkusen’s well-documented imperious home league form since the back end of May 2023 (W15, D5, L1), and confidence should be high about the prospect of justifying home favouritism here. [/p]

[p]Also losing only once in league action this season, Frankfurt have made a blistering start to the Bundesliga campaign (W4, D1), representing their strongest six-game start since 2012/13. Building on that strong start will be the aim, but they will arguably be at a psychological disadvantage after losing each of the last three H2H clashes by a combined scoreline of 11-2. [/p]

[p]Entering this as long outsiders, the odds have been largely telling in Frankfurt’s results this season as they’ve only won when beginning as favourites (D1, L1 as underdogs). Even so, Frankfurt had the third-highest win rate as pre-match betting outsiders last season at 29% (W4, D2, L8), and with 2.6 goals scored on average per competitive away game this season, [/p]

[p]Dino Toppmöller may expect a strong showing from his men despite their underdog tag. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Leverkusen ace Victor Boniface already has six goals to his name this season, with three of his last four competitive scoring appearances seeing him net decisively. Across the last 20 years of Bundesliga action, only Robert Lewandowski in 2020/21 had recorded more goal contributions than Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush (G8, A4) by round seven. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Both teams have scored in ten of the 12 Bundesliga games involving either of these sides this season. [/p]
